Freehold Ford Mission Statement

From the desk of Freehold Ford’s Owner/President, John Marotta, Sr.:

After two decades as the General Manager of other Ford stores, I began my journey at Freehold Ford in 2001; at first in the capacity of General Manager, but always with hopeful intentions to one day call the dealership my own. In 2004, I purchased Freehold Ford, planning to leave a legacy for my children and the generations that would follow. This year marks the celebration of 20 years of ownership for myself and my family. My son, John Jr., spent many years while still in Law Enforcement working and learning the car business, assisting on the sales management team before settling into his current role. Upon his retirement from a 25-year-long career in Law Enforcement, he took on the role of General Manager for the store. My daughter, Gina (yes, she really is the girl in the commercials!) has also worked here at Freehold Ford since 2010. Not only is she an integral part of our accounting department, but she has recently taken on the role of Social Media Manager. At Freehold Ford we value the loyal employees that are a part of our team. Many of our employees have worked here for over 20 years, assisting heavily in our day-to-day success.

Our customers are the heart of our business. Even under new management, many of our customers stayed loyal to the dealership itself, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We are proud to say that we have been serving some families for generations; seeing grandparents bring in their grandchildren to purchase their first vehicle is truly a special experience. At Freehold Ford, we believe you walk in as a customer, and leave as family.

Thank you for the last 20 years, for remaining loyal to myself, Freehold Ford, and Ford Motor Company. While I remain a part of the day-to-day business, I can’t help but look forward to watching my children and future generations continue to serve our customers and community in the years to come. Please always feel free to stop by and see the family; one of us is almost always in the building. I’m excited to celebrate 20 years of ownership with you all this year – we’ll be sure to update you on specials we’re running to commemorate this milestone all year long!
